Most Wiccans believe in a single ultimate reality that pervades the universe and is expressed in the Goddess and God. Most traditions worship the two deities as equals where none deserves more importance than the other. An attempt is usually made to reflect this balance in the coven, although men tend to be a minority in the Wiccan religion. One notable exception is Dianic Wicca, which worships the Goddess exclusively and only women are admitted to the covens.
Wicca is quite often referred to by the phrase “Wicca witchcraft” but this term is technically incorrect. The reason it is often incorrectly called Wicca witchcraft by many is because it is actually a form of witchcraft, but those practicing Wicca are more accurately referred to as Wiccans and not witches.
Wiccans do share one thing in common with Christians, however. Both believe that the indifferent destructiveness of Nature is essentially something good. Only in their mythologies have Wiccan magick or Christian prayer stopped the flood, doused the lightning bolt, stilled the whirlwinds of tornado and hurricane, calmed the quaking earth, or put to sleep the tsunami.
There are specific Wiccan beliefs and traditions, including worship of an equal and mated Goddess and God who take many forms and have many Names. Groups who worship only a Goddess or only a God are not traditional Wicca however they may protest, although they may be perfectly good Pagans of another sort. The Wiccan Goddess and God are linked to nature, ordinary love and children -- Wicca is very life affirming in flavor.
